Beijing

Beijing (19,612,368) is the capital city of China and home to most of the country's most significant historical monuments. Beijing is also the seat of China's political power, and has a much more traditional population than the more commercially-focused Shanghai. As Beijing hosted the Summer 2008 Olympics, the government embarked on a massive city-wide cleanup effort which has made China's capital even more enjoyable than ever before.
