The island of Florianópolis is so beautiful. There are so many beaches and each one has their own unique thing about them. I definitely recommend going to Lagoinha do Leste! You have to hike to get there, it's like a secret beach. The sights are amazing on the way there. Futbol games are so fun, try to go to one. For me, going to Sevilla was mainly about becoming fluent in Spanish. My Spanish communication skills improved but I got so much more out of it than I expected. Most importantly I learned how to handle myself when I'm in a new place and everything is foreign to me. As I began to embrace the Spanish culture the culture embraced me as well and that made for an unforgettable experience!

Studying abroad in Sevilla was one of the best decisions I've made. I loved the small town feel the city provided, even though it is a decently large size. Life in Sevilla never became dull, the locals are great, and I loved my home stay. I had fun, met friends for life from all over the US, and became fluent in Spanish. ISA was a great program to study abroad through as well because the staff abroad is extremely helpful and genuinely enjoy meeting their students. Studying Spanish in Sevilla through ISA is VERY recommendable and I would love to direct anyone with words of advice.

Everyone hopes they are picking the right country, the right city, and the right program, and it's hard to do from thousands of miles away. ISA was the best choice I feel I could have made and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to have an amazing time abroad and a great support system at the same time.
